Iran is one of the world‘s 20 strongest economies. An energy superpower with the world’s largest natural gas supply and the fourth-largest proven oil reserves. Iran’s growing 80 million strong population represents the second most populous nation in the Middle East and the 17th most populous in the world.

The growing demand for processed and packaged food and beverages is reflected by the rapidly increasing demand for food and beverage processing and packaging machinery. Iranian imports in this sector increased by 14.6% annually over the past five years, reaching 317 million Euro in 2016.

Last year, we gathered 16 companies under the French Pavilion.
